HOPE
Initiated from August 2023, with the HOPE initiative, AADI offers aids and appliances to the mobility-challenged in rural parts of West Bengal. The clear objective of the HOPE program is to provide durable, modern, and scientifically manufactured aids and assistive devices to people with disabilities (PWDs) from low-income backgrounds.
About 72% of disabled individuals in India live in rural areas and do not receive support from the government or NGOs. We provide our aids to uplift lives of these individuals and help them find dignified livelihoods. Our devices are provided by qualified prosthetists, orthotists (P&Os), and technicians at our rural fitment centres. We provide orthotics and other assistive devices to victims of stroke, polio, birth defects, and cerebral palsy. We also supply prosthetics to upper and lower amputees who have lost their hands or legs in accidents and diseases like diabetes.
